Frankfort Trick Or Treating Hours For Halloween 2025

FRANKFORT, IL — It's time to make sure you have enough bags of candy for trick or treats and finalize any last-minute costumes, as Halloween is just over a week away.

Halloween falls on a Friday this year. And in Frankfort, on Oct. 31, trick-or-treating hours will be from 3 to 7 p.m.

If you're looking for one more spooky, festive event in Frankfort; you can head out to Ghost Stories on the Green on Friday.

The free, family-friendly event will begin at 6 p.m. on Breidert Green. Hosted by the Village of Frankfort and the Frankfort Public Library, the Halloween event will feature ghost stories, free popcorn and a magical illusion show, according to the Village.

There will be straw bale seating, so no chairs or blankets are needed. Costumes are highly encouraged at the event.

Ghost stories will be held from 6 to 7 p.m., and a magical illusion show will be from 7 to 7:30 p.m.
