Frankfort Village Trustee Daniel Rossi Announces Run For Re-Election
Rossi has been on the board since 2021 and is seeking as second term.
FRANKFORT, IL– Incumbent Frankfort Village Trustee Daniel Rossi has announced he is running for re-election to the village board in the April 2025 election.
Rossi has been on the board since 2021 and is seeking as second term to continue the important work currently underway in the village, according to a news release.
“Frankfort has made significant progress in the last several years, and I’m proud to work with the
elected officials and staff we have who truly care about our village,” Rossi said. “I feel particularly good about the direction we are heading. The development discussions I have been involved with the last four years have balanced the growth we are experiencing, while keeping the charm that drew so many of us to the village. This is the time when Frankfort needs individuals to serve who have been part of the dialogue to continue bringing vital projects to fruition."

In the last several years, Frankfort has approved three more housing developments which Rossi
believes will bring young families into the community.
“We want to continue to provide opportunities for young families to move in and make Frankfort their home,” said Rossi. “But new construction of any kind needs to blend into the fabric of the village and meet the highest standards we have set as a village.”

Rossi also voted on many new businesses that have come to the village, including in the industrial
area. Frankfort has had ongoing new construction downtown with many new businesses opening
including new restaurants such as Chick-Fil-A, according to a release. He is also proud of the road and street improvements the village has completed in the last three years.
“One goal I would like to complete, if re-elected, is to work on developing the Route 30 corridor from Pfeiffer Road to LaGrange,” stated Rossi. “The Pfeiffer Road extension is something residents will be pleased with.”
Rossi and his family moved to Frankfort in 2005 and in 2013, he ran and was elected to serve as a trustee for the Frankfort Fire Protection District. Rossi retired from the Homewood Fire Department after serving there for 25 years as a chief officer, a news release states.
Much of his career was also spent working with municipal budgets which he believes makes him an asset to the Frankfort Village Board. Following his retirement, Rossi spent several years in the private sector, managing two Ace Hardware Stores.
“I am asking the voters to allow me the privilege to serve another four years to continue improving Frankfort while protecting the taxpayers and maintaining charm that makes Frankfort such a wonderful place to live," Rossi said.
