Frankfort's Country Market With A Cop Set For Sunday
The free, family-friendly event is scheduled to run from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Breidert Green in downtown Frankfort.
FRANKFORT, IL — The Frankfort Police Department is inviting residents to come out Sunday for Country Market with a Cop, a free, family-friendly event for residents to have the opportunity to ask questions, voice concerns and get the know the officers of the Frankfort PD.
Country Market with a Cop is scheduled to run from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Breidert Green in downtown Frankfort. The event will take place during the regularly scheduled the Village's Country Market, which runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. each Sunday through Oct. 30.
The Frankfort PD will have police vehicles on display, and offer safety handouts and information, according to information posted on the Frankfort PD Facebook page.

"It's a nice opportunity to meet the men and women of the Frankfort Police Department," said Frankfort Police Chief Leanne Chelepis. "We'll have some police police vehicles out there for the kids to sit inside and some nice handout information, as well."
