Fridays On The Green Return June 6

FRANKFORT, IL — Summer has arrived, and the Frankfort Public Library's popular Fridays on the Green events will return June 6 to Breidert Green.

The events are planned for 10 to 11 a.m. on June 6, June 13, June 20, June 27, July 11, July 18 and July 25.

Here's a look at what to expect:

• June 6, Big Run Wolf Ranch. Walk-in program, for all ages. Learn about the animals from the ranch. Sponsored by the Friends of the Frankfort Library.
• June 13, BenAnna Band. Walk-in program, for all ages. Enjoy the music of the BenAnna Band. Sponsored by Tropical Smoothie Cafe Frankfort.
• June 20, Science Heroes: the Adventure of the Missing Color. The Science Heroes use hands-on experiments, interactive stories and more to explore coloring the world with art. Sponsored by the Express Med Spa Frankfort.
• June 27, Dinosaur Dimensions with Curt Strutz. Enjoy animatronics dinosaurs on the Green. Sponsored by Jimmy John's Frankfort.
• July 11, Noah Ginex Puppet Company. Check out some silly puppets.
• July 18, The Spoon Man with Jim Cruise. Watch an amazing show with spoons and silverware.
• July 25, Coasting with a Cop. Bring your bike and helmet and ride after the Frankfort Police Department checks the bikes for safety. Sponsored by Culver's Frankfort.
