Halloween Is For The Dogs At Frankfort Park District's Howl-A-Woof Event

It's time for our four-legged friends to enjoy Halloween.

FRANKFORT, IL — It's time for your canine friends to join in on the Halloween fun with Frankfort Park District's Howl-A-Woof event on Oct. 18.

You can bring your dog all dressed up for the costume competition, a bone yard hunt and for trick-or-treating, according to the park district. Howl-A-Woof will be held starting at 10 a.m., at Bark Park at Commissioners Park, 80th Avenue and Sauk Trail.

The free event will offer trick-or-treating for dogs with the vendors at the Bark Park, so remember to bring a bag to collect all the goodies. The costume contest will be judged on Best Overall, Funniest, and Scariest, the park district said.
