Hickory Creek Bikeway Trail Section Closes For Resurfacing

FRANKFORT, IL — A section of the Hickory Creek Bikeway near Frankfort is expected to be closed for the rest of the month, according to the Forest Preserve District of Will County.

The trail section will be closed for resurfacing from Route 30 to Old Plank Road Trail. Barricades have been placed on the trail north of Route 30 and at the Old Plank Road Trail connection between Schoolhouse and Owens roads, the preserve said.

The project should be finished by the end of October, but weather and other factors could affect this timeline.
