Hickory Creek Teacher's Baby is in Fight for Her Life
Hickory Creek Special Education Teacher Dana Goldschnikl's 14-month-old daughter Emma is in a fight for her life. Emma was born premature.

Hickory Creek Middle School Special Education teacher Dana Goldschnikl and husband Josh, a Palos Park firefighter, need help. Their 14-month-old daughter Emma was born 4.5 months premature. Consequently, she is battling numerous physical problems.
A benefit for Emma is planned from 4-8 p.m. Oct. 5 at Alley Thunderbowl, 18700 Old LaGrange Road, Mokena. Tickets are $30 for adults and $10 for kids 6-12 years old. The ticket price includes a buffet dinner and drinks.
Emma has a hole in her heart, brain bleeds and lung problems. The medical costs so far have exceeded $$1.5 million. For more information about the Goldschnikl family visit Emma's Facebook page.
