Hickory Creek Volleyball Teams Honored By Frankfort Board
Both the 6th/7th grade team and the 8th grade team took IESA state championships.
FRANKFORT, IL — At its Monday meeting, the Frankfort Village Board approved a proclamation recognizing the Hickory Creek Middle School girls volleyball teams for their 2025 state championship victories.
Both the 6th/7th grade team and the 8th grade team took IESA state championships.
Mayor Keith Ogle said the 6th/7th grade team had a "perfect, undefeated season" with a 21-0-0 record. This was the second consecutive state title for the team.

The eighth grade team also had a "remarkable" season, Ogle said. The team finished with a 21-1-0 record.
"The Village takes great pride in celebrating the achievements of its youth and recognizing the dedication, sportsmanship, and pursuit of excellence demonstrated by these student-athletes," Ogle said. "Congratulations to the team, Coach Vallejo, Coach Roberts, and all who contributed to this
remarkable journey."
