July 4th Fireworks 2022 In Frankfort

FRANKFORT, IL — Cities and counties across the country continue to bring back many of the traditional Independence Day activities that were either canceled or modified the last two years.

July 4 is just around the corner, so it's time to find out what Fourth of July fireworks and festivities are going on near you in 2022.

We have all the fireworks shows, parades and festivals happening in and around Frankfort so you can start planning now.

Here's what's in store this July 4 in Frankfort:

4th of July Celebration

The Frankfort Park District will host live music, food, children's activities and fireworks. Events are scheduled to start at 5 p.m. July 4 at Main Park, 200 S. Locust St.

A DJ Dance Party is scheduled to start things off at 5:30 p.m. The band Sundance is scheduled to perform from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Fireworks are set to begin at dusk.

Activities for children will include giant inflatables, carnival games, Kenny the Clown and face painting. Wristbands to be admitted in the children's activities will cost $10.
