Lincoln-Way East Boys Basketball Team Heads To Regional Championship
Lincoln-Way East will play Rich Township on Friday in the regional championship.
FRANKFORT, IL — The Lincoln-Way East boys basketball team will play in the regional championship game on Friday, after defeating Lincoln-Way West in the first round of regional competition.
The team defeated Lincoln-Way West, 58-44, on Wednesday, according to IHSA results.
Now, Lincoln-Way East (no. 7) will face no. 3 seed Rich Township at 6 p.m. on Friday.

The winner of the regional championship will advance to the first round of sectional competition, and play against the winner of Sandburg vs. Marist, according to IHSA.
The IHSA Class 4A state final tournament will be held March 14-15 at the University of Illinois in Champaign.
