Lincoln-Way East Celebrates Fall Signing Day

FRANKFORT, IL — Lincoln-Way East celebrated its fall college signing day recently, with 16 student athletes officially committed to competing at the collegiate level next year, the school shared.

"This group of student-athletes have represented Lincoln-Way East, our community, and their families extremely well," East Athletic Director Mark Vander Kooi said. "They still have a lot to do their senior year, but we know that they will excel in their college experiences."

The following students were recognized:

• Nora DeFrank – Lacrosse, Central Michigan University
• Mia Drzewiecki – Lacrosse, University of Chicago
• Ryan Flanagan - Baseball, Rock Valley College
• Jacob Habel - Baseball, Highland Community College
• Anderson Laurencell - Baseball, North Central College
• Owen Lense - Baseball, Quincy University
• Maddie Hellrung – Volleyball, Carthage College
• Nate Jackson - Diving, University of Pennsylvania
