Lincoln-Way East Football Advances To Quarterfinals
Now, Lincoln-Way East will face Warren High School, in Gurnee, at 7 p.m. on Saturday.
FRANKFORT, IL — Lincoln-Way East High School's football team continues its 2023 IHSA Class 8A playoffs berth, as it advances to the quarterfinals after its win over Minooka.
Lincoln-Way East defeated Taft, 56-0, in the first round of playoffs; and also won against Minooka, 28-0, in the second round.
Now, Lincoln-Way East will face Warren High School, in Gurnee, at 7 p.m. on Saturday. Lincoln-Way East is undefeated this season, 11-0, and is the no. 2 seed, according to IHSA. Warren is 9-2, and the no. 10 seed.

Lincoln-Way East finished second in the Class 8A state championship last year.
The winner of the Lincoln-Way East, Warren match-up will face the winner of Maine South and Barrington in the semifinals. The state championship game will be played on Nov. 25 in Normal.
