Lincoln-Way East Football To Play Stevenson In First Round Of IHSA Playoffs

FRANKFORT, IL — IHSA football playoffs kick off this week, and Lincoln-Way East football will play Stevenson High School in the first round of the Class 8A playoffs.

Lincoln-Way East will play at home at 7 p.m. on Oct. 31, according to IHSA.

The Griffins are the no. 9 seed, while Stevenson is no. 24. The winner of the game will play the winner of Chicago's Whitney Young and Palatine in the second round of playoffs.

Lincoln-Way East is 7-2 this season.

The Class 8A state championship will be played on Nov. 29.
