Lincoln-Way East Holds Winter Signing Day For Student-Athletes

FRANKFORT, IL — Lincoln-Way East High School held its winter signing day, celebrating 16 student-athletes who have committed to play their sport at the collegiate level.

The student-athletes are:

• Landon Gillio, football, St. Xavier University
• Tim Giusto, football, Loras College
• Jaden Henry, baseball, Lewis University
• Kyndal James, volleyball, Lawrence Technology
• Joey Johnston, football, University of Wisconsin-Platteville
• Sean Lefevour, football, Central College, Iowa
• Danny Mackey, baseball, Roosevelt University
• Tamia Maddox, volleyball, St. Louis University
• Keagan Ruane, football, Morehead State University
• MJ Schley, baseball, University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh
• Liam Treacy, soccer, University of Wisconsin-Whitewater
• Dylan Weathers, football, University of Indianapolis
• Talan White, football, Indiana State University
• Warren Yanong, football, University of Indianapolis

"There was a lot of hard work and determination to earn the chance to play their sport in college, and there is a lot of hard work in front of them to excel in college. But the rewards are great, and this group is up for the challenge," Mark Vander Kooi, LWE athletic director, said in a release.
