Lincoln-Way East Vs. Niles West In First Round Of Football Playoffs

FRANKFORT, IL — The Lincoln-Way East High School football team has once again earned a berth to the IHSA Class 8A playoffs.

The first round of the playoffs kick off on Friday, and Lincoln-Way East, which is seeded no. 1, is set to face Niles West (no. 32 seed). The game will begin at 6:30 p.m., at Lincoln-Way East.

Lincoln-Way East is undefeated (9-0), while Niles West has a 5-4 record, according to IHSA.

The winner of Friday's game will play the winner of the Minooka vs. Taft match-up in the second round of playoffs next week.
