Lincoln-Way Marching Band To Perform At Chicago White Sox Game
The band's performance helps raise money for an upcoming trip to the Tournament of Roses Parade in California.

The Lincoln-Way Marching Band will perform the national anthem at the Chicago White Sox game Saturday at Guaranteed Rate Field. The band will play just before the first pitch, which is scheduled for 1:10 p.m.
Nearly all the 300 band members will be on the field to perform the anthem Saturday, June 23. The game features the White Sox against the Oakland Athletics.
The performance will help the band raise money to play in the 2019 Tournament of Roses Parade on New Year's Day in Pasadena, California. The White Sox provided tickets for the band at a $10 discount, and members sold those at face value. Students raised more than $12,000 by selling more than 1,200 tickets, according to Lincoln-Way High School District 210.
