Lincoln-Way Students To Perform 'Guys And Dolls'

FRANKFORT, IL — School may have just started a few weeks ago, but Lincoln-Way D210 student are already well into rehearsals for the second district-wide theatrical collaboration.

The District's production of "Guys and Dolls," featuring students from Lincoln-Way East, Central and West, will run Sept. 26-28 at Lincoln-Way East.

Last fall, the Lincoln-Way's very first district-wide musical earned the title of Best Production at the Illinois High School Musical Theater Awards, the District said.

This year, the District has chosen the classic, "Guys and Dolls," and it happens to be the 75th anniversary of the beloved musical. Students have been hard at work since July, according to the District.

Performances will be at 7 p.m. on Sept. 26 and Sept. 27, and at 2 p.m. on Sept. 28. Tickets can be purchased online.
