Manhattan Driver Cited For DUI, Illegal Transportation Of Alcohol

FRANKFORT, IL — The following information is from the Frankfort Police Department unless otherwise noted. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.

Retail Theft

A business in the 21000 block of LaGrange Road made a past-tense retail theft report to police July 27. No details were given about what was stolen.

Property Damage

Damage to air-conditioning units at a business in the 20200 block of LaGrange Road were reported to police July 28.

DUI

Kadi B. Craig, 26, of the 12900 block of West Haley Road, Manhattan, was cited for driving under the influence, driving with a blood-alcohol content of more than 0.08, illegal transportation of alcohol, driving without insurance, improper lane use and driving without wearing a seatbelt during a traffic stop at around 1:10 a.m. July 29 in the 10800 block of Laraway Road.

Craig's next court date is Sept. 4.
