Midlothian Man Accused of Sexual Relationship with Underage Girl
Jeremy D. Townsend, 22, is due in Will County court on April 23. He is charged with criminal sexual abuse.
A 22-year-old Midlothian man is accused of having an ongoing sexual relationship with an underage girl, according to police.
Jeremy D. Townsend of the 14600 block of Pulaski Road is charged with criminal sexual abuse.
Frankfort police said Townsend had an ongoing sexual relationship with a girl who was under the age of consent. Police would not release any further details in the case because of the age of the girl involved.

Authorities were notified after the girl's parents found out about the relationship, police said. Townsend was booked into the Will County jail on April 1. Bail was set at $40,000. He was released on April 3.
Townsend is due in Will County court on April 23.
