More Than 800 Without Power In Frankfort: ComEd

ComEd says weather is to blame after a wave of storms swept through the area Wednesday.

Frankfort, IL — ComEd on Wednesday reported at least 828 customers in Frankfort were affected by power outages. ComEd listed severe weather as the probable cause for the outages.

The majority of outages appeared to be localized to the southwest Lincoln-Way East High School on Colorado Avenue. Other outages were reported on the east and west sides of Main Park.

The outages were listed as "pending assessment," and no update was yet available for an estimated time for restoration of services.
