New Boutique Plans Opening At End Of November In Frankfort

House of Lala will offer home decor, accessories, gifts and designer consignment.

FRANKFORT, IL — Two local sisters are the owners of a new specialty boutique in Frankfort that owner Emily Atieh calls "a pool of pink filled with unique items."

Atieh, and her sister, Sabrina Ziyad, will open their boutique, House of Lala, later this month.

"We are a specialty boutique that offers home decor, accessories, gifts and designer consignment," Atieh told Patch. "...Our boutique is a pool of pink filled with unique items, and we’re excited to show Frankfort!

The sisters, who are now both Frankfort residents, are very familiar with the area, as they grew up in nearby Tinley Park and are alumna of Andrew High School.

"I studied fashion at Columbia College Chicago and worked in every realm in the fashion industry, but my true love for visual merchandising brought me to the point to finally live out my dream of opening my own business with my best friend," Atieh said.

Ziyad, who is a dental hygienist, "adores fashion and interior and when we both decided to go for it, we knew we were going to start something we both truly have a passion for," Atieh said.

The sisters hope to open the business, located at La Grange and Lincoln Highway, on Nov. 30.
