Obituary: Kevin Callanan

FRANKFORT, IL— Kevin J. Callanan, age 80, late of Frankfort, passed away Jan. 8, 2024. U.S Marine Corp Veteran. Kevin enjoyed reading, studying history and traveling. He was a dedicated employee of the federal government.

After retirement from the federal government, Kevin had a second career as a criminal investigator with the Cook County Criminal Courts.

Beloved husband of the late Linda S. Callanan nee Hudson. Loving father of Lara (Douglas) Reznick. Cherished grandfather of Gillian Reznick and the late Benjamin D. Reznick. Caring brother of late Nancy Larkin and John “Jack” Callanan. Dear son of the late John and Anne Callanan. Uncle to several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was Jan. 11 at St. Anthony Catholic Church. Interment will be private. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Vandenberg Funeral Home-Mokena.
