Pizza, Pizza: Frankfort Village Board Approves Little Caesars Permit
The restaurant will be located at 20245 S. LaGrange Road.
FRANKFORT, IL — Can a town have too many choices when it comes to pizza? Not in Frankfort.
Residents will have one more option to add to the list after the Frankfort Village Board of Trustees at its Tuesday meeting unanimously approved a special use permit to allow Little Caesars to come to town.
The soon-to-be chain restaurant will be located at 20245 S. LaGrange Road and will be carry-out only. A special use permit was needed in order for the restaurant to open at that location, which is part of the Frankfort Commons II shopping center, according to Village documents.

The Village Plan Commission heard the proposal for Little Caesars at its Aug. 25 meeting, during which a public hearing was held. The Plan Commission also unanimously voted to recommend to the Village Board to approve the special use permit, Village records showed.
Even though the restaurant is slated to be for carry-out orders, there is a special provision in the ordinance that prohibits delivery vehicles from being parked on site overnight; however, people who use delivery apps, such as DoorDash or GrubHub, may still be able to get their pies delivered if the restaurant chooses to participate, according to Village Building Department Director Adam Nielsen.
