Plans For 2 Multi-Use Paths In Frankfort Move Forward
The cost of the design phase will be $77,500.
FRANKFORT, IL — Plans for two multi-use paths in Frankfort moved forward at Monday's Village Board meeting. The Frankfort Board approved a professional engineering services agreement with Robinson Engineering to design two paths.
Trustee Adam Borrelli said the two paths will be at Main Park; from the west side of Locust Street, from the north parking lot to the south parking lot; and at Pfeiffer Road; from the east side of Pfeiffer Road from Laraway Road south to the existing path at the Stone Creek Phase 1 subdivision.
The cost of the design phase will be $77,500. According to Board documents, the fee covers the design phase, including topographic surveying, property surveying, engineering plans and specifications, and bidding services.

Estimated construction costs (which are not yet approved) are $180,000 for the Main Park path and $375,000 for the Pfeiffer Road path, according to Board documents.
