Scarecrow Contest Begins In October At Founders Community Center

FRANKFORT, IL — Fall is almost upon us, and that means it's time for the Scarecrow Building Contest hosted by the Frankfort Park District.

Scarecrows are due Oct. 9, and will be displayed outside the Founders Community Center. The park district said families, scout groups, HOAs and community organizations to make their own scarecrow entry.

Cross sticks are available for pick-up now. Voting on your favorite scarecrow runs from Oct. 13-31 and will take place at the Founders Community Center office and on the Park District’s Facebook page.
