Police were searching for suspects after a police pursuit.

FRANKFORT, IL —Three people are in custody after a "shelter-in-place" order for nearby residents and a police pursuit early in the area of Harlem Avenue and Vollmer Road in Frankfort Square, according to a news release.

Three people are in custody after a police pursuit, according to the Village of Tinley Park Public Safety page.

The Village of Tinley Park Public Safety Facebook page shared that Tinley Park Police were assisting Matteson Police in the area of Vollmer and Harlem. Police were searching for five men in all black clothing, possibly armed with handguns, according to the Village.

In an update at 8:50 a.m. on Monday, the Will County Sheriff’s Office said that deputies and other agencies had searched and cleared the area.

There are no further details on the two suspects who are not in custody.
