State Sen. Hastings To Make 'Special Announcement' During Back To School Bash

FRANKFORT, IL — State Sen. Michael Hastings will share a special announcement at the Back to School Bash at Commissioners Park on Aug. 14, the Frankfort Park District shared in a release.

The park district will host the free, family-friendly event from 6 to 8 p.m.

Residents of all ages are encouraged to come out for a jam-packed evening of fun, including field games, tabletop carnival games, music, a craft station and a touch-a-truck experience. The Splash Park will also be open.

“We’re thrilled to bring the community together as they prepare for the upcoming school year,” Gina Hassett, Executive Director, said in a release. “Having Senator Hastings join the event to share exciting news for the Frankfort community makes this year’s Bash even more meaningful.”
