Stolen Kitten Returned To Frankfort Animal Rescue
Jack the kitten is back with Cache Creek Animal Rescue after he was stolen on June 11.

FRANKFORT, IL — A kitten stolen from Cache Creek Animal Rescue earlier this month is back in the animal rescue's possession, the business shared on its Facebook.
"We are ecstatic to let everyone know that Jack is back where he belongs," the business said.
The kitten, named Jack, was stolen on June 11 from the animal rescue, which operates inside of Alsip Nursery, 20601 S. La Grange Road.

A woman was seen on surveillance video walking to the rescue animal area and when she left, she appeared to be carrying something under her sweatshirt, Frankfort Police previously told Patch.
"[Jack] seems perfectly fine and there is nothing wrong with him, so that’s one positive thing," the animal rescue said. "So now we can find his forever home!"

The business thanked Frankfort Police for locating the thief. Police told Patch that the investigation is still active.
The animal rescue said it takes precautions "so this type of thing does not happen, and we will continue to take precautions."
