Summit Hill School Calendar 2017-18: First Day Of School, Vacations, Conferences

The first day of school in Summit Hill is August 23. Feel free to mark it on your calendar as one of the most dreaded days of the year for students and teachers — and feel free not to feel guilty about marking it as one of your favorites. The Summit Hill School District has released its 2017-2018 calendar for public schools.

The calendar includes important dates such as winter and spring vacations, religious holidays, federal holidays, early dismissals and parent-teacher conferences.

• 11/20 - 11/21: No School for Students (Parent/Teacher Conference Day)
• 11/22 - 11/24: No School (Thanksgiving)

December

• 12/25 - 1/5: No School (Holiday Vacation)

January

• 1/1 - 1/5: No School (Holiday Vacation)
• 1/8: Classes Resume
• 1/12: Half Day for Students (Teacher In-Service)
• 1/15: No School (Martin Luther King's Birthday)

February

• 2/16: No School for Students (Institute Day)
• 2/19: No School (President's Day)

March

• 3/2: Half Day for Students (Teacher In-Service)
