Taste Of Frankfort Returns Tuesday With More Than 20 Restaurants
The popular event is back under Frankfort Mayor Keith Ogle after a five-year hiatus.
FRANKFORT, IL — Taste of Frankfort is set to return to the village from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Tuesday at CD&ME, 23320 S. LaGrange Road in Frankfort. The last time the event was held was in 2016 under then-Mayor Jim Holland.
"It was a very popular event, and my wife (Kim Ogle) and I had volunteered and helped [Holland] with that event," Frankfort Mayor Keith Ogle said. "So, a lot of people were asking about bringing it back, and I checked with [Holland] and he gave us his blessing on that.”
More than 20 Frankfort-based restaurants have signed on to sample their finest cuisines for attendees, Ogle said. In addition to the plethora of food, there will also be raffle baskets and restaurant gift cards.

“We want people to become familiar with some of these restaurants they may not have normally gone to, they might not be aware of some of the smaller ones, and to go and try them and sample what we do have in Frankfort,” Ogle said.
Tickets for the event are $40 and include samplings from all the restaurants at the event.
