UPDATE: Traffic Re-Opened On Rte. 30 After Power Lines Down On Road

FRANKFORT, IL — The Frankfort Police Department announced Thursday that traffic on Lincoln Highway has resumed following an earlier incident involving downed power lines on the roadway, according to an alert sent by Frankfort PD.

The Frankfort PD earlier advised motorists to avoid Lincoln Highway between Frankfort Square Road and 80th Avenue because of the downed power lines on the roadway.

Traffic in both directions on Lincoln Highway in that area was briefly shut down, according to Frankfort PD.
