Village Of Frankfort Receives Financial Reporting Award
The Village has received the award every year since 1989.
FRANKFORT, IL — For the 35th year in a row, the Village of Frankfort was awarded the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting by the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada.
At Monday's Village Board meeting, Mayor Keith Ogle said the award is for the Village's annual comprehensive financial report for the fiscal year that just ended on April 30.
"The Certificate of Achievement is the highest form of recognition in the area of governmental accounting and financial reporting, and its attainment represents a significant accomplishment by a government and its management," Ogle said at the meeting.
