Village Of Frankfort Welcomes New Police Officer
Frankfort police officer Steven Smock was sworn in during Monday's Frankfort Village Board of Trustees meeting.

FRANKFORT, IL — The Frankfort Police Department officially welcomed a new member to its ranks at Monday's Frankfort Village Board of Trustees meeting.
Officer Steven Smock took his oath at the meeting. He was hired in October 2020, and he recently finished his training and probationary period.
Smock currently works as an evidence technician for the Frankfort Police Department.

Smock holds a bachelor's degree in criminal and social justice with a minor in psychology from St. Francis University, according to Village documents. He also played linebacker for the university's football team.
