Wendy's Supervisor Accused Of Sex With 16-Year-Old Employee
The 25-year-old man was arrested Monday, and he faces criminal sexual abuse charges, according to the Will Co. Sheriff's Office.

FRANKFORT, IL — A 25-year-old fast food restaurant supervisor is accused of having an inappropriate relationship with a 16-year-old employee that eventually involved sex with the underage girl, according to the Will County Sheriff's Office. Philip W. Buroff, formerly of Orland Park but who now lives with acquaintances in Frankfort, was arrested Monday, and he faces aggravated criminal sexual abuse charges, the sheriff's office said in a statement Tuesday.
Sheriff's detectives began investigating sexual misconduct allegations involving Buroff and the underage employee in April. The two worked together at a Wendy's restaurant in Mokena where Buroff had been the location's supervisor, the sheriff's office said.
The girl told investigators she became friends with Buroff, who also has supervised Wendy's locations in Frankfort, Manteno and Matteson. Over a year's time, he allegedly began making "inappropriate sexual advancements" toward her in text messages and on private social media sites, according to authorities. Eventually, their relationship turned into a sexual one, the girl told sheriff's detectives.
