FRANKFORT, IL — Winter weather advisories have been issued in anticipation of a winter storm on Wednesday.
The National Weather Service said the heaviest snow will be between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Wednesday. Significant travel impacts are possible, especially during the Wednesday afternoon and evening commutes.
Because of the incoming weather, several school districts across the area have announced early releases or e-learning days.

- In Frankfort, Summit Hill District 161 has announced an e-learning day for students on Wednesday.
- Frankfort School District 157-C announced an e-learning day for Wednesday. All three buildings will be closed.
