World Premiere of Frankfort Spirits Emil Stimple Barrel Strength Bourbon at Derby Day Celebration

Frankfort Spirits is bringing Kentucky to Frankfort. On Saturday, May 2, Frankfort Spirits, a new premier craft distillery in Frankfort, will host a Derby Day celebration from 2 to 6 p.m. at CD&ME, 23320 S. LaGrange Road. The Frankfort Spirits Emil Stimple Barrel Strength Bourbon will make its world premiere at the event as well.

Hats and heels, bow ties and spring suits are encouraged attire with prizes awarded to men and women for Best Hat and Best Dressed. Also included in the ticket price: live bluegrass music, authentic Southern cuisine, 2 specialty cocktails, raffles and games (no gambling). A VIP ticket option features 1 p.m. early admission, a signed bottle of Emil Stimple Barrel Strength Bourbon, live music, a build-your-own Bloody Mary bar, specialty cocktail tastings and an opportunity to meet the distillers.

Frankfort Spirits owners, who just returned from a research trip in Kentucky and Tennessee, have been planning this event for months.

“We are big fans of the Derby and wanted to bring Kentucky to Frankfort,” said Chris McFarland, a Frankfort Spirits partner. “In addition, our Barrel Strength Bourbon is ready and what better way to celebrate than to have a Derby Party.”

Please note: this is a 21 and older event. Tickets are $45 each or 2 for $80 until April 30. $55 at the door. VIP tickets are $125 each.
