Year-Round Electronic Recycling Offered At Frankfort Township
There are several electronic recycling drop-off sites in Will County.
FRANKFORT, IL — For Will County residents looking to recycle electronics, year-round electronic recycling is offered at the Frankfort Township building.
At Monday's Village Board meeting, Mayor Keith Ogle reminded residents of the available service.
Ogle said collections take place on the second and fourth Tuesday of every month from 5 to 7 p.m. A valid ID is required to verify Will County residency.

The Frankfort Township building is at 11000 W. Lincoln Highway.
According to Will County Green, the Frankfort Township location opened in 2018. There are several electronic recycling drop-off sites in Will County, including at Lockport Public Works, New Lenox Township, Bolingbrook Park District, Peotone Police Department, City of Wilmington, Manhattan Township and Channahon Township.

Accepted items include: TVs, computer monitors, printers, computers, keyboards, fax machines, DVD players, video game consoles, small-scale servers, scanners, air fryers, telephones, electric scooters, electric lawn mowers, fans, microwaves, power tools, and vacuums, among several other items. Please remove the batteries before dropping off items.
