5 Indicted In ATM Robberies In Glen Ellyn, Indiana, Iowa

GLEN ELLYN, IL — A fifth person has been indicted in a string of ATM robberies that took place in Glen Ellyn, Countryside, Iowa and Indiana over a span of less than a month in 2022.

Charges of conspiracy to commit robbery were filed against Danny Roland, 27, Bryce Jones, 26, Tristian Miller, 27, Daquan Bens, 29, and Chandler Williams, 27, all of Texas.

Bens, Jones, Roland and Williams previously pleaded not guilty to the charges. Miller was arraigned at 2 p.m. Wednesday.

Prosecutors say the defendants were involved in ATM robberies at the following locations:

• First Source Bank in Portage, IN, on March 12, 2022
• Inland Bank in Countryside, IL, on March 23, 2022
• Parkway Bank in Glen Ellyn, IL, on March 25, 2022
• Grundy National Bank in Conrad, IA, on March 30, 2022
• First State Bank in Lynnville, IA, on April 1, 2022
• First Central State Bank in LeClaire, IA, on April 1, 2022
• Solon State Bank in Tiffin, IA, on April 2, 2022
• Resource Bank in Hinckley, IA, on April 3, 2022

The defendants were accused of stealing the eight ATMs with stolen vehicles, chains and bolt cutters.
