Antisemitic Statement Made, Door Kicked In Glen Ellyn: Cops
Police are urging residents to check their cameras and report any suspicious activity in the wake of Friday's incident.
GLEN ELLYN, IL — Police in Glen Ellyn are urging residents to stay vigilant after a report that someone made an antisemitic statement and kicked the front door of a home.
The incident took place in the 400 block of Elm Street around 8 p.m. Friday night. According to the police, two people came up to the home and kicked the door. One person then made an antisemitic comment, per a news release.
Police say they searched the surrounding area, but were not able to find the persons of interest. In the wake of the incident, they are urging residents who live nearby to check their security cameras and call 630-469-1187 to report any suspicious activity.
