Bethel New Life Church in Wheaton will host a special celebration for National Day of Racial Healing. Guest speaker for the event will be the Rev. Dr. Craig Howard, Executive Presbyter for the Chicago Presbytery. Other guests will include Milas Armour, a well-known soloist in the Chicago area, and Achkei Wilson, a mime artist. This year the theme is: “The Rhythm of Our Humanity,” focusing on shared stories, joy, courage, and connection to move toward healing and build a more just world, emphasizing that joy is a practice that unites us.”

The Glen Ellyn Historical Society presents Historian Leslie Goddard at the Glen Ellyn History Center, 800 N. Main Street, Glen Ellyn, on Saturday, January 24&nbsp;at 2:00 PM.&nbsp; Admission is $10 for adults, FREE for GEHS members and kids. Included in the program are the stories behind the writing and producing of these famous love songs. &nbsp;Goodman has entertained and educated audiences at the GE History Center previously and is considered a great event performer.
