New K-9 Joins Police Force In Glendale Heights

GLENDALE HEIGHTS, IL — A new officer has joined the police force in Glendale Heights. K-9 Ivy, a bloodhound, will team up with officer Gabrielle Lessner to help find suspects and missing persons.

Ivy was fully funded by Ivy Hall, a cannabis dispensary in the village.

“Ivy Hall is committed to being a good steward of our license, a great corporate citizen, and on behalf of our ownership group and team members, we welcome Ivy to the force. We know she will serve the residents of Glendale Heights with dedication in the years ahead,” Greg Elliott, who works as the chief growth officer of Ivy Hall.

Glendale Heights Chief of Police George Pappas said of Ivy Hall, “Their support of the Glendale Heights Police Department and the residents of the Village of Glendale Heights helps make our community safer each and every day. Having Ivy as our newest K-9 Officer, through the support of Ivy Hall, is a great asset to everyone. We are thrilled to have her join the Department.”
