New Residential Solid Waste Rates In Effect On Sept. 1 Bill
This year's base rates increased by three percent.

In June 2020, the Village Board approved contractually updated rates for the weekly residential solid waste program. Rates were updated as part of the Village’s five year contract with Groot Industries. The new rates go into effect on the September 1, 2020 Village services bill.

Monthly Rates
This year’s base rates increased by 3 percent, in accordance with the contract. Overall, the rates equate to an additional annual cost to residents of $3.96 to $9.84, depending on the type of service residents select. The supplemental rates cover toter replacement, the branch & brush program, the unlimited refuse collection program and administration/billing. Ancillary Rates
Beginning September 1, a slight increase in ancillary rates will be implemented. As a reminder, leaf stickers are used October through November and yard stickers are used April through November. New pricing can be found in the chart below.
