20 Dozen N95 Masks Donated To Glenview Police
A Northbrook pharmaceutical company donated 240 N95 masks to the Glenview Police Department.
GLENVIEW, IL — Northbrook-based Astellas pharmaecutical company donated 240 protective N95 masks to the Glenview Police Department to boost its supply of personal protective equipment through the coronavirus pandemic. Astellas spokesperson Stacy Harris said Glenview has been the only police department they have donated to at this time.
"Thank you to the all first responders and health care workers putting their own lives at risk in helping to keep us safe," Astellas wrote in a Facebook post.
Glenview police posted that it was thankful for Astellas Pharma as one of its community partners helping to get the department through this difficult crisis.

As of Friday, the U.S. has more reported coronavirus cases that any other country. On Thursday, over 2,500 cases and 26 deaths in Illinois have been reported.
