Glenview Mexican Restaurant Moves Into New Space In The Glen
El Tradicional Mexican Restaurant, which opened in the village in 2018, features "authentic Mexican atmosphere and delicious food."
GLENVIEW, IL — El Tradicional Mexican Restaurant has a new home, but one not too far from its former location. Opened in 2018, the family owned and operated restaurant known for serving food from "our mom's kitchen" is now located at 1800 Tower Drive.
"El Tradicional Mexican Restaurant is a lively place known for its authentic Mexican atmosphere and delicious food," said the Glenview Chamber of Commerce, which held a ribbon-cutting at the new spot. "Be sure to check them out for a variety of dishes — tamales, tacos, nachos, & more. There is something for everyone to enjoy."
El Tradicional Mexican Restaurant, which previously operated at 1831 Tower Drive, is owned by Brenda Martinez.

In addition to the authentic Mexican cuisine, El Tradicional is known for its signature margaritas.
The restaurant is open 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, as well as Sunday, and 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
