The Glenview Education Association (“GEA”) and Glenview Professional Association (“GPA”) endorse District 34 parents Julie Moon, Scott Nelson, Vasilios Soupos and Alex Kamilewicz for election to the Board of Education of Glenview Public School District 34. Candidate Jen Patel did not respond to the GEA and GPA’s invitation to participate in the process.
All four candidates running for the four Glenview D34 Board of Education positions were interviewed by the GEA and GPA on Thursday, March 16, 2023. Moon, Nelson, Soupos and Kamilewicz received the recommendation of the GEA and GPA following the interviews. The GEA and GPA representatives on the interview team asked the board hopefuls questions regarding challenges we believed the Glenview Public Schools will face in the future and for their ideas on how to approach the same.
