Library Building Temporarily Closing On Nov. 21
The library will remain closed until at least Monday, Dec. 14, as coronavirus cases surge.
Dear Glenview:
To help reduce the spread of COVID-19 and keep Glenview healthy, the Library building will temporarily close to the public beginning on Saturday, November 21, and will remain closed until at least Monday, December 14. This decision is in response to a recommendation by the Illinois Department of Public Health to help decrease the positivity rate of COVID-19 in our region.

While the building is closed to the public, staff will continue to provide the following services:
Drive-Up Window Service

The Drive-Up Window will be open for picking up materials during the following hours beginning on Saturday, November 21:
Monday-Friday, 9 AM to 9 PM
Saturday, 9 AM to 5 PM
Sunday Closed
Please note upcoming Library Thanksgiving holiday closings:
Wednesday, November 25 at 5 PM
Thursday, November 26 Closed
Friday, November 27 at 5 PM

Materials Return
All external book drops will be open for returning materials 24/7 beginning Saturday, November 21.

The Library will continue to offer a wide array of virtual programs while the building is closed. Visit glenviewpl.org/register to view upcoming programs.

Download or stream books, audiobooks, magazines, newspapers, music, movies, and TV shows—all FREE with your Glenview Public Library card. Need help? Schedule a virtual one-on-one appointment with staff with this online form or email, and we will contact you to set up a time slot. Appointments are conducted via Zoom and are limited to GPL cardholders.

Free Parking Lot WiFi
We recently boosted our WiFi signal, so you can now get online while parked in our lot. No need to come into the building!
