Two Tresspassers Found Sleeping in Patriot Blvd Home
Catalytic converters were also stolen from cars in Glenview in separate incidents.

Residential Burglary
Two unknown males were found sleeping in a residence in the 2000 block of Patriot Blvd Sept. 7. They left before police were called. It appears they entered through a rear window leading to the second floor. Numerous items were moved around and food and drink were consumed but it is undetermined what, if anything was taken.

Identity Theft
Someone used a victim’s personal information, including their social security number, to open an AT&T phone account and purchase an iPhone valued at $186 Sept. 1. The victim suffered no financial loss and AT&T cancelled the account.

Criminal Trespass
A navy blue SUV parked next to a locked construction site gate in the 2500 block of Waterview Dr. and a male exited the vehicle with a backpack and climb over the fence, entering the construction site at 7 p.m. Sept. 1. An female waited by the SUV. The SUV and the suspects left the area before police arrival. A check of the site found nothing disturbed.
Catalytic Converter Theft
Someone stole the catalytic converter worth $1,300 from a 2004 Honda Element while it was parked at the 2400 block of Ravine Way.
Bike Swiped
Someone stole a locked men’s silver and black Trek Dual Sport bicycle worth $1,220 while it was parked in the Metra North Train Station between the hours of 8 a.m. and 6:25 p.m. Sept. 2.
Criminal Damage to Property
Someone damaged a red 1997 Mitsubishi Eclipse while it was parked in the 2100 block of Waukegan Rd. on between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. Sept. 2. The rear window to the car had two holes. The rest of the vehicle was not disturbed and nothing appeared missing.
Check on Well Being
Someone was knocking on the back door of a home in the 900 block of Pfingston Road at 1:30 a.m. Sept. 3. The subject appeared intoxicated and had possible self-inflicted injuries to their face and head. The subject was transported to the hospital.
Burglary
A burglary at the Sunset Village Mobile Home Office was discovered at 6:30 a.m. Sept. 3. The front door to the office building was found unlocked. An office was ransacked and a rear window forced open. An unknown amount of money was taken from the receptionist’s desk.
Public Fall
A person tripped over a raised section of the sidewalk in the 3800 block of Crestwood Dr. at 10:30 a.m. Sept. 3, injuring their lip and knees. They refused to go to the hospital and were treated at the scene. Photographs of the injuries and the sidewalk were taken.
Identity Theft
A resident reported Sept. 3 that someone used their personal information to apply for a credit card. The victim did not suffer any financial loss and did not want to pursue criminal charges.
Identity Theft
A resident reported Sept. 3 receiving a phone call from an unknown male who identified himself as an IRS agent. He told the victim they owed $6,900 in back taxes and needed to give their social security number to him. The victim gave their social security number and the caller hung-up.
Theft
Someone removed the catalytic converter from a 2008 Honda Element while it was parked in the 2700 block of Patriot Blvd. sometime between 12:30 and 4:30 p.m. Aug. 29. Estimated loss is $2,000.
Identity Theft
A resident reported Sept. 3 that someone used their personal information to open a Visa credit account and make an Internet purchase through Itworks Co. The victim had the account closed and suffered no financial loss.
Residential Burglary
A burglary to a home in the 1500 block of Evergreen Ter. was reported Sept. 3. Entry appears to have been made through the kitchen windows. Estimated loss is $620.
Hit and Run
The driver of a black Volkswagen Passat struck the median in the 9700 block of Milwaukee Ave. at 3:30 a.m. Sept 4 and stopped in the parking lot of 9701 Milwaukee Ave. It had severe damage to its undercarriage.
Found Bike
A Murray 18-speed Mountain Bike was found in front yard of a residence in the 600 block of Echo Ln. Sept. 4. It was placed into property custody.
Identity Theft
A resident reported Sept. 4 that someone used their personal information, including social security number, to open a Comcast Internet account from January to April 2013 in Glenwood.
Found Animal
Two pit bulls with no tags were found near Glenview Rd. and Milwaukee Ave. at 9:30 p.m. Sept. 4. The dogs were turned over to police and placed in the Glenview Police animal cage.
Driving on a Suspended License
Angelique E. Delgado, 23, of the 1800 block of Grey Ave. in Evanston, was arrested in the 2700 block of Pfingsten Rd. at 1:30 p.m. Sept. 8 and charged with driving with a suspended license. She was released on bond with an Oct. 1 court date.
