3 Grayslake District 127 Students are National Merit Semi-Finalists
Grayslake Students Compete at the Highest Academic Levels.
We are proud to share that Grayslake Central senior Mihir Tandon and Grayslake North Seniors Eugene Kang and Aidan Kim have earned the prestigious designation of National Merit Semifinalists and they will go on to compete for the Finalist level and then for the Merit Scholar title. Merit Scholars gain access to scholarships. Merit winners will be announced between April and July of 2024.
According to the National Merit Scholarship Corporation, "the nationwide pool of Semifinalists, represent(s) less than one percent of U.S. high school seniors, [and] includes the highest-scoring entrants in each state."
In addition, three Grayslake Central students. Anna Cope, Joshua Jones, and Tyler Terronez earned Commended status.
