Black Lung Brewing Opening Spacious Grayslake Taproom Soon
The brewery will officially be open to all on Aug. 31.
GRAYSLAKE, IL β Black Lung Brewing Company is reviving a vacant space in downtown Grayslake β which once housed Light the Lamp Brewery β and will open its third taproom in the Chicago area in the coming days.
The brewery, which currently has taprooms in Fox Lake and Round Lake Beach, will open at 2 S. Lake Street in the next week. An invite-only preview is planned for Aug. 29 followed by an official grand opening on Aug. 30 β where Mug Club members will get priority seating, according to the Daily Herald.
The brewery will officially be open to all on Aug. 31.

Josh Grubbs, a Grayslake resident who founded the brewery, says the Grayslake taproom will double his brewing capacity and will also offer upscale bar food.
βWeβre fired up to land in Grayslake β finally,β Grubbs told the Daily Herald. βOur new taproom doubles our brewing muscle and brings the full Black Lung experience to town.β
