In alignment with the lifting of the indoor mask mandate in Illinois on Feb. 28, College of Lake County (CLC) announces the following:Â

Beginning Monday, Feb. 28, and continuing through Sunday, March 27, masks are required in classrooms, labs, tutoring centers, testing centers and the library. Masks are recommended but optional in all other spaces across CLC’s three campuses.Â
CLC will discontinue requiring proof of vaccination or weekly testing for students, faculty and staff after March 5, 2022. Through March 5, however, those who are not fully vaccinated must still submit a weekly test result.Â

Physical distancing and hand hygiene practices are recommended. On-campus vaccination clinics and the SHIELD testing site will continue as scheduled.Â
